Why We Give

As a church, we believe in being generous with our time, talents and treasures. We know that “money and church” is a pretty controversial issue today, but it really shouldn’t be. We understand the Bible to announce God’s ownership of everything (Ps. 24:1, 1 Cor. 10:26) and our stewardship of his possessions (Gen 1:28, 1 Pet 4). As stewards of God’s possessions, we are called therefore to be joyfully and consistently generous. (2 Cor 8). 

We don’t just believe in giving of our treasures as individuals of the church, but also as the corporate church. This is a Biblically driven value for us. We give over 20% of every dollar to church planting, city benevolence, and campus ministry efforts here in the city and elsewhere. As a church, we also believe in giving of our corporate time, talent, and treasure. Here are some easy ways to support our church.
