Our Vision

How We Nurture Kiddos

The vision of Legacy Church is to create and sustain a community for children to grow in their understanding of the gospel of Jesus out of our deep-held belief that they are the future of not only our church but the Church.

We desire and will foster opportunities for them to come alongside us in the mission to share that gospel with our neighbors. Volunteers will work alongside each other, loving, serving and ministering to one another as they pursue this vision together.

What to Expect

What to Expect

When you enter our gathering, you will be met by friendly faces who can direct you to the Legacy Kids check-in kiosk. Volunteers will assist you in registering your child, and you will receive a sticker tag with a unique code for both you and your child(ren).

Our volunteers can then show you where our classroom area is, which is where your child will be until you pick them up after the service. During class, we combine free play as well as an age appropriate Bible lesson using The Gospel Project curriculum. When worship begins at the end of the main service, you are invited to pick up your child so that you can worship together as a family. We ask that you present your sticker tag at the time of pick-up.

Kids United

Kids United

Kids United is a special large-group gathering that happens every 3 weeks for our Legacy Kids Community where children ages 3 and up come together to worship, learn, and build friendships beyond their regular classrooms. During Kids United, children participate in engaging activities, movement-based worship, and a short Bible lesson that reinforces what they have been learning on Sunday mornings. Our heart is to create a fun, structured environment where kids can grow in their love for Jesus, connect with one another, and experience the joy of being part of the church family. During Kids United weeks, we will have extra staff in the Nursery which will be for children up to 2 years old.

We have great options for your kids no matter their age.

Policies

Safety is one of our highest priorities in Legacy Kids Community. All volunteers must have a passed background check and complete a required safety training before serving with children. We also have clear procedures in place for check-in and pick-up, classroom safety, medical needs, and emergency situations.  Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where every child is known, cared for, and protected.

We do not allow any food or drinks other than water in the Legacy Kids community.

If your child needs a diaper change or assistance using the restroom, we will notify you so you can come help them. For children’s safety, we do not take children to the restroom during class, so we encourage families to have their child use the restroom before check-in.

Each week we sanitize toys and do our best to provide a clean environment for Legacy Kids classes. To assist us in keeping all children healthy, we ask that you refrain from bringing them to class if they have had any of the following within the last 24 hours:

  • Fever
  • Vomiting or Diarrhea
  • Cough or Difficulty Breathing
  • Cloudy or Green Nasal Discharge
  • Unexplained Rash
  • Communicable infections: Strep throat, Flu, RSV, Croup, Pink Eye, Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease, Lice, Scabies, Chicken Pox or Measles
